These terms and conditions (these “Terms”) govern the agreement between Israel Emergency Alliance dba Alums for Campus Fairness (“ACF”, “we”, “us” and/or “our”) and the person making the purchase (“you” “yourself”, and/or “your”) in connection with the purchase of a ticket for, registration to, and/or the attendance at the event or conference specified in your purchase order (the “Event”).

You must be 18 years of age or older in order to register and/or purchase tickets for this Event. If you purchase an Event ticket on behalf of another delegate or multiple delegates (the “Delegates”), such Delegates will be bound by these Terms and you agree to procure such Delegates compliance with the same. If you are registering or purchasing a ticket for any attendee under the age of 18, you hereby represent and warrant that you are the parent or legal guardian of such minor or otherwise have the legal authority to consent to these Terms and the minor’s participation in the Event on the minor’s behalf.

Please review these Terms carefully and make sure that you understand them before you click and submit and finalize your purchase. You hereby consent to and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and any additional terms or policies of ACF in connection with the Event.

PAYMENT. Registration for the Event must be paid in full (the “Purchase Price”) to guarantee registration and admittance. Once the Purchase Price has been received by ACF, an email confirmation and a receipt will be sent. By registering for the Event, you warrant that you have the authority to authorize charges to the credit card or other method of payment, as applicable. You understand and agree that ACF is not liable, in any way, for erroneous bill statements or incorrect charges and that should an error occur in billing or debiting, ACF’s only responsibility is to correct such error when and if ACF receives written notice from you of such error. Unless otherwise stated in the terms of the Event, the Purchase Price includes your entry into the Event and for the duration of the Event only, and is exclusive of all travel, accommodation, insurance and other costs and expenses (all of which must be arranged and met by you).

CANCELLATION POLICY. All fees in connection with the Purchase Price are final and nonrefundable; provided, however, that ACF may, in its sole discretion, approve refunds or credits on a case-by-case basis. Please contact [email protected] for more information.

TRANSFER/ASSIGNMENTS. Registrations for the Event may not be transferred or assigned within seventy-two (72) hours of the scheduled start of the Event without our prior written consent. Any approved transfer or assignment must comply with these Terms. Please contact [email protected] to transfer or assign your registration for the Event.

ADMITTANCE; RIGHT OF REFUSAL. You are responsible for complying with all rules of the Event. Proper identification is required for entrance into the Event, and such identification must match the name as designated at registration. For online events, the name and email address used for admittance into the online event must match the name and email address designated upon registration. In its sole discretion and without refund of the Purchase Price, ACF reserves the right to refuse admittance to or remove from the Event anyone that it determines is behaving in a manner that could be disruptive to the Event or pose any danger to any other attendee, including, but not limited to offensive language, unwanted physical contact, stalking, bullying, disruptions or other breaches of the peace, or any form of discrimination. You hereby consent and agree that in such event, you shall not be entitled to a refund of any portion of the Purchase Price or any additional expenses incurred by you. Breach of any of these Terms shall entitle ACF to all available legal remedies.

ASSUMPTION OF RISKS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AND EXCEPT IN THE EVENT OF GROSS NEGLIGENCE OR WILLFUL CONDUCT BY ACF OR ACF EMPLOYEES, BOARD MEMBERS, OFFICERS, VOLUNTEERS, AGENTS, DONORS OR AFFILIATE ENTITIES (COLLECTIVELY, “RELEASED PARTIES”) , YOU, ON BEHALF OF YOURSELF AND YOUR HEIRS, PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVES OR ASSIGNS (COLLECTIVELY “RELATED PERSONS”), HEREBY FULLY UNDERSTAND AND KNOWINGLY, VOLUNTARILY AND IRREVOCABLY, ASSUME ALL RISKS, HAZARDS AND DANGERS RELATED TO ENTRY INTO, AND PARTICIPATION IN, AT AND AROUND THE EVENT, WHICH MAY INCLUDE, WITHOUT LIMITATION, AN INCREASED RISK OF EXPOSURE TO COMMUNICABLE DISEASES (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, COVID-19), VIRUSES, BACTERIA OR ILLNESSES OR THE CAUSE THEREOF, SICKNESS, PERSONAL INJURY, DISABILITY, OTHER SHORT-TERM OR LONG-TERM HEALTH EFFECTS, AND/OR DEATH. YOU HEREBY ACCEPT PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR VOLUNTARY ATTENDANCE AT THE EVENT. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU HEREBY ASSUME, ON BEHALF OF YOURSELF AND RELATED PERSONS, ALL RESPONSIBILITY OF CLAIMS AND POTENTIAL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE RISK, HAZARDS AND DANGERS IN CONNECTION WITH THE EVENT.

RELEASE AND WAIVER. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU, ON BEHALF OF YOURSELF AND RELATED PERSONS, HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGE AND KNOWINGLY, VOLUNTARILY, IRREVOCABLY, AND FOREVER RELEASE, WAIVE, AND DISCHARGE, EACH OF THE RELEASED PARTIES WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL CLAIMS THAT YOU OR ANY OF THE RELATED PERSONS MAY HAVE (OR HEREINAFTER ACCRUE) AGAINST ANY OF THE RELEASED PARTIES, THAT RELATE TO ANY OF THE RISKS, HAZARDS AND DANGERS INCURRED BY ATTENDING THE EVENT, WHETHER DESCRIBED IN THESE TERMS OR OTHERWISE (COLLECTIVELY, THE “CLAIMS”), IN EACH CASE WHETHER CAUSED BY ANY ACTION OR INACTION (OTHER THAN GROSS NEGLIGENCE OR WILLFUL CONDUCT) OF ANY RELEASED PARTY OR OTHERWISE. NEITHER ACF NOR THE RELEASED PARTIES SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS, LIABILITY OR DAMAGE TO PERSONAL PROPERTY.

RIGHTS OF PUBLICITY. By attending this Event, you hereby grant ACF permission to record and photograph your name, image, likeness and sound of your voice for purposes deemed appropriate by ACF, and ACF, and its agents or assigns, or anyone authorized by ACF, reserves the sole right to use any photographs, recordings, electronic images or publicity material received by or obtained by ACF in the course of the Event, for whatever use or purpose deemed proper by ACF without limitation of any kind. This may include the right by ACF to use one or more video recordings or photographs in promotional, marketing and/or educational materials. You understand that your name, image, likeness and voice may be edited, copied, exhibited, published or distributed and further relinquish and transfer to ACF all rights, title and interest you may have in the finished pictures, film, digital footage, negatives, prints, separations, plates and any other reproductions and copies thereof.

DATA PROTECTION/USE OF INFORMATION. ACF will use any personal data you provide to us in connection with your registration and attendance at the Event in accordance with our privacy policy which can be found at standwithus.com/privacy-policy/.

CHANGES. ACF, in its sole and absolute discretion, reserves the right to make changes to the agenda, format, speakers, location and any other aspect of the Event, including cancellation and postponement of the Event, without notice and without liability to ACF. In the event of cancellation of the event by ACF, you will be entitled to a refund of the Purchase Price.

SPEAKERS. Views expressed by speakers are their own. ACF shall have no liability for advice given, or views expressed, by any speaker at the conference or in any material provided to attendees.

FORCE MAJEURE. Except as otherwise provided in these Terms, ACF shall not be held responsible or liable for any delay or failure in performance of its obligations hereunder to the extent such delay or failure is caused by fire, flood, earthquakes, hurricanes, unseasonably extreme inclement weather, strikes, labor disputes, inability to secure sufficient labor, civil, governmental or military authority, government requisitions, restrictions or regulations on travel, facility availability, commodities or supplies, civil disturbance, transportation, acts of God, acts of terrorism or threats of terrorism, acts of war, accidents, pandemic, epidemics, disasters, the unavailability of the venue or any other cause beyond its reasonable control. In any such event, ACF may postpone, reschedule or cancel the Event without further liability on the part of ACF. In the event the Event cannot be held pursuant to this section, ACF shall not be liable to you for any damages, costs, or losses incurred (direct or incidental), such as transportation costs, accommodations costs, or financial losses, and shall only be responsible for providing you with a full refund of the Purchase Price for the Event.

INSURANCE. It is the responsibility of the attendee to arrange appropriate insurance they may desire in connection with their attendance at the Event. ACF shall not be liable for any loss, liability or damage to personal property.

GOVERNING LAW. These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regards to conflicts of law.

MODIFICATIONS; NO WAIVER. ACF reserves the right to amend, modify, or update these Terms at any time in its sole discretion, with or without notice. No waiver by ACF of any provision of these Terms, or of any breach or default thereof, shall be deemed or construed to be a continuing waiver or a waiver of any other provision of these Terms.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us in connection with the Event, and supersede and extinguish all previous agreements, promises, assurances, warranties, representations and understandings between the parties in connection thereto, whether written or oral.
