An invitation-only convening of university leaders committed to strengthening Western Civilization and civic education in higher education. If you are interested, please contact ACF’s Rebecca Pinchevsky at [email protected].
Higher education is at an inflection point. Across the nation, institutions are reexamining how they teach history, civilization, citizenship, and the foundational ideas that have shaped the Western tradition. At the same time, universities face growing questions about civic literacy, intellectual diversity, historical understanding, and the role of the humanities in preparing students for democratic citizenship. This gathering is designed to provide participants with an opportunity to learn from successful institutional models, exchange ideas with peers, and explore practical approaches to strengthening civic and Western Civilization education on their own campuses.
The Summit brings together a select group of university presidents, provosts, deans, faculty leaders, and thought leaders from across the country for a day of substantive conversation and collaboration.
Hosted by Alums for Campus Fairness and Jewish Alumni Strong, and co-sponsored by Florida State University’s Institute for Governance and Civics.
