ACF Commends UT Dallas for Suspending SJP Chapter

Alums for Campus Fairness (ACF) commends the University of Texas at Dallas for suspending its campus chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) through February 6, 2027, following disruptions during the university’s spring 2025 commencement ceremony.

According to the university, SJP violated campus policies by organizing a coordinated walkout that disrupted commencement proceedings. The disciplinary action follows a formal notice issued in September 2025 and a subsequent review process.

ACF views this decision as an important step in upholding university policies and preserving the integrity of major campus events. ACF supports UT Dallas in enforcing its policies and encourages the university to continue holding students and student groups accountable for violations.
