ACF Announces Inaugural Outstanding Chapter Leadership Award and Its First Recipient

Alums for Campus Fairness (ACF) is proud to announce Jennifer Locane of George Washington University as the inaugural recipient of its Outstanding Chapter Leadership Award.

The award, which includes a programming stipend, was established to recognize an ACF chapter leader whose grassroots commitment, energy, and impact reflect ACF’s mission. Jennifer, a double GWU alum, was selected from a remarkable group of finalists for her tireless advocacy on behalf of Jewish and pro-Israel students and her dedication to building lasting institutional change at GWU.

ACF’s chapter leaders and network are meeting the moment of rising antisemitism by engaging administrators, supporting students, and driving meaningful change at universities across the country. The Outstanding Chapter Leadership Award was created to recognize those who are leading that charge, and Jennifer is a shining example of what that leadership looks like in action.

Among her many contributions, Jennifer has strengthened ACF’s relationships with key campus leaders, provided critical feedback on university policies, and actively recruited new members at national conferences and convenings. She also joined ACF’s alumni track and spoke on the alumni impact panel at the 2026 StandWithUs Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“Jennifer embodies everything this award stands for,” said Avi D. Gordon, executive director of ACF. “Her work at GWU is exactly the kind of chapter leadership that makes our mission possible.”

ACF is grateful to Susan Julien, ACF executive director emerita, co-founder, and advisory board member, whose vision and generosity made this award possible, and looks forward to growing this recognition in the years ahead.
