ACF Applauds UCLA Task Force Recommendations to Combat Antisemitism

Alums for Campus Fairness (ACF) applauds UCLA following the release of a new antisemitism task force report recommending stronger enforcement measures to address antisemitism on campus.

The report calls for faster disciplinary timelines, clearer consequences under Title VI, restrictions on university-backed anti-Zionist and BDS advocacy, and adoption of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) definition of antisemitism in university policy enforcement.

The recommendations come amid continued federal scrutiny and multiple lawsuits concerning UCLA’s handling of antisemitism during and after the 2024 anti-Israel encampments on campus.

In response to the report, Chancellor Julio Frenk stated, “The roadmap announced today turns our values into action. It makes clear that antisemitism and all other forms of discrimination and bigotry have no place at UCLA.”

ACF views these recommendations as a meaningful step toward improving accountability and campus safety for Jewish and pro-Israel students and applauds UCLA for taking these concerns seriously to foster a safer and more inclusive campus environment.
