ACF Honors Israel’s Strength and Unites to Protect Students One Year After October 7th

New York, NY – Today marks the one-year anniversary of the tragic and violent October 7th attack on Israel. As the Alums for Campus Fairness team reflects on this challenging year, we are reminded of the resilience, strength, and courage displayed by Israel, its people, and Jewish communities worldwide. This day stands as a testament to the endurance of a nation remaining steadfast in its pursuit of peace, security, and prosperity.

As we remember those whose lives were lost, we also keep in our thoughts and prayers the hostages who remain captive. We continue to pray for their safe return and for healing for all those impacted by this dark chapter in our history.

Immediately following October 7th, Jewish and pro-Israel students on campuses across the United States faced an outpouring of hostility. Demonstrations and encampments erupted, and Jewish and pro-Israel students attending those universities have become targets of antisemitic rhetoric in an increasingly hostile environment.

Over the past year, ACF has continued to mobilize our alumni network to protect and empower Jewish and pro-Israel students across American campuses. In the face of rising antisemitism and increasing polarization following 10/7, we have remained committed to fostering a safer, more inclusive, and supportive environment where students can feel secure in expressing their Judaism and Zionism without fear.

Together, ACF looks to the future with hope. We are driven by the belief that we can show strength and resiliency through education, alumni advocacy, and solidarity. Am Yisrael Chai.
