Alums for Campus Fairness’ Tufts Chapter (ACF-Tufts) applauds Tufts University (Tufts) and President Anthony Monaco for issuing a statement outlining the administration’s plan for addressing antisemitism.

From discrimination and bias awareness programs to educational programs to better understand the connection between antisemitism at Tufts and conflict in the Middle East, our alumni are encouraged by President Monaco’s proposed recommendations.

Susan Price, ACF-Tufts Chapter Leader said, “I am pleased to read the strong statement against antisemitism from President Monaco. I am encouraged to see the Tufts administration's active participation in the Campus Climate Initiative and that Tufts is taking the information and anecdotes provided from surveys and focus groups seriously. ACF agrees that understanding the definition of antisemitism, teaching how antisemitism is unique from other biases, and conducting orientation training and training for faculty and staff are very important in this endeavor.”

As the unified alumni voice against antisemitism, we are confident that Tufts will work diligently to combat antisemitism on campus.

Please join ACF-Tufts in thanking President Monaco by showing your support here.
