ACF Voices Concern Over Liz Magill’s Appointment as Dean of Georgetown Law

Alums for Campus Fairness (ACF) expresses serious concern about the appointment of Liz Magill as the new dean of Georgetown Law. Her tenure as president at the University of Pennsylvania was marked by a troubling approach to the rising tide of antisemitism, particularly evident in her failure to condemn hate speech clearly. This was starkly highlighted during her evasive testimony before Congress on December 5, 2023.

As ACF continues to mobilize our alumni network to respond to an alarming increase in antisemitism on college campuses, we believe Georgetown Law deserves leadership that will stand firmly against all forms of hatred and prioritize the safety and well-being of every student. We strongly urge the Georgetown community to reflect on these vital principles as it welcomes Magill as its new dean.
