Alums for Campus Fairness Applauds Peace Abroad, Demands Accountability at Home

New York, NY – Alums for Campus Fairness (ACF) applauds the announcement of a deal to bring the remaining hostages home to Israel and end the war in Gaza. ACF commends the Trump Administration for working tirelessly to achieve this outcome. We are anxiously awaiting the return of the innocent hostages and are praying for them.

The following statement is attributable to ACF Executive Director Avi D. Gordon:

“Hamas’s atrocities two years ago resulted in the devastation and suffering of untold numbers of people in Israel, Gaza, and around the world.

“Jewish and pro-Israel students in the U.S. have endured two years of relentless hostility and intimidation, as the majority of institutions failed to protect them and uphold their most basic responsibilities.

“The October 7, 2023, attacks and near-simultaneous pro-Hamas activism on college campuses profoundly altered relationships between many Jewish and pro-Israel alumni and their alma maters. We will feel the effects of these changes for years to come.

“ACF has worked 24/7 to counter the surge of antisemitism in higher education. We have mobilized alumni nationwide, demanded accountability from administrators, and stood firm against those who seek to marginalize Jewish and pro-Israel students.

“We hope this agreement will bring about peace in the region and lower the temperature on campus so we may begin to heal. ACF will continue holding colleges and universities accountable to ensure Jewish life and pro-Israel voices are respected and protected.”
