Alums for Campus Fairness Welcomes Federal Probe of Antisemitism at Five Universities

Alums for Campus Fairness applauds the Department of Education for launching investigations of antisemitic discrimination at five universities that have tolerated hateful acts of harassment, violence, vandalism, and intimidation. The probes send a clear message that the Trump administration will not allow academic institutions to stand idle while terrorist-sympathizing hate groups on campus perpetrate civil rights abuses.

ACF previously scrutinized the disturbing pattern of antisemitic behavior spreading across campuses since October 7, 2023, prompting investigations at many of these schools, including Columbia University, Northwestern University, and the University of California, Berkeley.

“The federal investigations put universities receiving taxpayer funds on notice that they need to move decisively to stamp out antisemitic hate on campus, hold perpetrators accountable, and restore the safety of their communities,” said Avi D. Gordon, Executive Director of ACF. “Hatred and violence should have no home at institutions dedicated to promoting learning through study, debate, and mutual respect.”
