Alums for Campus Fairness (ACF) is activating in New York City this week around the Annual Spring Meeting of an American Psychological Association (APA) division led by a notorious antisemite. Lara Sheehi, an Assistant Professor at George Washington University and President of APA’s Division 39, has a long history of discriminating against Jewish students and inciting violence against innocent Israelis.

This week she will be feted at a conference alongside her husband, Willam and Mary Professor of Middle East Studies Stephen Sheehi, and Rutgers’ Gender and Women’s Studies Professor Jasbir Puar. ACF will be welcoming these three unashamed antisemites to New York City with mobile billboards.

Avi D. Gordon, Executive Director of Alums for Campus Fairness, released the following statement:

“The APA should be ashamed to provide a platform for these virulent antisemites. New Yorkers have no tolerance for racism and incitement. This campaign sends a clear message that these bigots and the hate they represent are not welcome here.”
