Statement from Alums for Campus Fairness Executive Director Avi D. Gordon on Michael Schill’s Disastrous Committee Testimony

Bipartisan outrage from Committee about antisemitism on campus

Statement from Avi D. Gordon:

“Congresswoman Kathy Manning said what so many Jewish students already know: there’s been a normalization of antisemitism on campus. Congressman Jim Banks said what many were thinking when he told President Schill that he’d ‘embarrassed’ his university with his disastrous and dishonest testimony. At this juncture, it shouldn’t take the Northwestern Board of Trustees much soul-searching to do the right thing and fire Schill. President Schill refused to address the blatantly antisemitic comments by his appointees to the so-called antisemitism committee and wouldn’t even say if he’d negotiate with the KKK. It’s obvious he’s lost all credibility and must go. It’s time for the Northwestern board to do what’s right, what’s best for all students, and fire Michael Schill.”
